The Schönhof is the main building of the Silesian Museum in Görlitz. It is an architectural gem of the Görlitz Old Town and is among the oldest secular Renaissance buildings north of the Alps.

At the Silesian Museum, the 1000-year history of Silesia is narrated through precious objects and numerous memorabilia. The permanent exhibition spans 2,000 square meters and covers all aspects of the cultural history of this unique region in the heart of Europe, from the early times under the Piast dynasty to the Habsburg and Prussian eras, and up to the expulsion of the German population and the establishment of the new Polish Silesia. The "Schönhof digital" collection showcases crafts, visual arts from different parts of the country, as well as the architecture of the Schönhof through images, 3D recordings, and panoramic views.
