In the centre of Görlitz's old town
Schönhof is located in the south-west of Görlitz's Untermarkt at the junction with Brüderstraße. The Untermarkt is the centre of Görlitz's old town with the historic town hall, numerous imposing buildings and several restaurants. It was first mentioned in 1305 and was the place where traders and craftsmen sold their wares until the middle of the 19th century.
