The Silesian Museum has many discoveries in store for children. Our child-friendly audio guide can enrich a traditional exhibition visit, bringing young visitors in kindergarten and primary school age closer to special treasures and pointing out details that are sometimes not immediately apparent.

The virtual tour takes children and adults through the Schönhof with its over 500-year-old walls, hidden corners, and secrets. With a smartphone or VR glasses, it’s an exciting journey through time, where the precious objects, which are protected behind glass in the museum and may not be touched, can now be viewed up close.

For children’s groups, school classes, and children’s birthdays, there is an educational museum program with offers on various topics. Children can discover the Schönhof with Rübezahl or two Schönhof ghosts, or learn more about the everyday and not so everyday life of the former inhabitants of this oldest Renaissance house in Görlitz.
